Services

Broad expertise makes a convincing partner.

Today the construction industry has many interfaces with future-ready technologies.

Modern technology and methods for laying utility lines.

Rober Bau regards cable laying, like all its other work, as a complete service that precisely matches the client's requirements.

This includes consultation, planning, the procurement of suitable materials and implementation. A well-thought-out system ensures that fibre optic cables can be laid underground very quickly. The conduits required for this are installed as conduit routes and then filled with fibre optic cable: this is done using high-performance compressors that blow the fibre optic cables up to 2,500 m into the conduits under high pressure. For the installation of cables, Rober Bau supplies and sets cable chambers of every size. Planning takes long-term requirements into account in order to avoid unnecessary costs in the future.

Documentation: transparency and safety.

Documenting the routes that have been laid, calibrating them and surveying them properly are fundamental. The routes can be located easily at any time because they are marked - explicitly at the client's request - with electronic detectors (cable markers) that Rober Bau locates and marks. The documentation is available to customers in both printed and digital form in cable plan books.

Easy handling

Site plans, traffic management plans and photo documentation are produced expertly by the specialists at Rober Bau. They can be accessed online.

Quality checks

All of our conduit routes undergo a proper leak test.

Special operations

Trenchless crossings using an underground piercing tool are likewise carried out professionally by Rober Bau with the latest technology.

For flush drilling and pilot drilling in the construction of pipeline networks, Rober Bau works regularly with Germany's leading partners.

The "closed construction method" avoids ground vibrations and deformation both in the surrounding soil and at the surface of the site. It is ideal when motorways, roads, railway tracks, streams, rivers, rock or simply private land have to be crossed. There is no traffic disruption, noise or emissions from construction machinery, and no dependence on the weather. Damage to utility lines running across the route is largely ruled out, because the bores are guided precisely past existing lines. Using this method, utility pipes of up to DA 900 mm can be drawn in over bore lengths of up to 1,100 linear metres (including through rock) in a single pull.

The new network:

Speedpipes

96 optical fibres from the main distribution frame to the distribution points.

3

Distribution Points

Laying into every street and up to the building entry points.

4

Street Cabinets

Above-ground distribution cabinets each serve up to 48 customers.

5

FTTH
